Our take on the Burrow Mid-Century Nomad Sofa

The Burrow Mid-Century Nomad Sofa is an 85-inch three-seat sofa with a mid-century silhouette, block arms and 7-inch wood legs. It ships as modular pieces that fit together without tools, and the reversible back cushions are tufted on one side and plain on the other. Cushions use three-layer CertiPUR-US foam in a PFAS-free performance flatweave, and a built-in USB port sits in the frame. Its only recorded price is $1,267.00 at Burrow as of October 29, 2026, so there is no lower recent price to compare against.

Questions and answers

Is the Burrow Nomad Sofa worth it?
If you move often or live in a walk-up, the tool-free modular build is the main draw, and the three-layer foam holds up better than budget sofa cushions. At $1,267.00 at Burrow as of October 29, 2026, it sits in the middle of the modular-sofa market.
How does it compare with the standard Burrow Nomad?
This is the mid-century version: same modular frame and cushion system, with block arms, 7-inch wood legs and a tufted-or-plain reversible back. Pick it over the standard Nomad if you want the period look; the seating dimensions are otherwise similar.
Does it have a USB port?
Yes. A USB charging port is built into the frame so you can charge a phone from the couch. You still need your own cable.
How big is it, and will it fit my space?
It measures 85 inches long, 35 inches deep and 33 inches high, with a 17-inch seat height and 22-inch seat depth. Leave clearance for the 7-inch legs and room to walk past the 35-inch depth.
Is the fabric safe for allergies or chemical sensitivity?
The cushions are CertiPUR-US certified and the fabric is PFAS-free, which owners with sensitivities cite as a reason they bought it. The tight-weave performance fabric is also made to resist stains and scratches.
When is the best time to buy?
The only recorded price is $1,267.00 at Burrow as of October 29, 2026, so there is no past low to time a purchase against. Watch for Burrow's seasonal furniture sales, when modular sofas typically see their deepest cuts.
