Is this bed frame worth it at $116.91?

At $116.91 at Walmart as of November 7, 2026, it is cheap for a king frame with a tall headboard and slats. That price is low enough that the main risk is build feel, not cost.

Do I need a box spring?

No. The frame comes with slats and is designed to hold a mattress directly, which saves the cost of a box spring.

Will it fit a standard king mattress?

Yes. It is listed as a king frame, and the same line also comes in full/double and queen if you need another size.

How much weight can it hold?

The listed maximum is 800 lb, which covers two adults plus bedding for most households.

The frame includes EVA foam strips intended to stop metal-on-metal squeaks. Owners have not reported on it yet, so treat that as a design claim rather than a proven result.

What is the under-bed clearance?

The frame height is 6.3 inches, enough for low storage bins but not tall luggage.
