Is the Café double drawer dishwasher worth $1,199?

It is worth it if you often run small loads and want two independent wash systems. If you mostly wash full loads, a standard 24-inch dishwasher costs less and uses less energy.

How is it different from a regular dishwasher?

It has two separate drawers, each with its own wash system, so one can run while the other is loaded or idle. A standard dishwasher gives you one tub and one cycle at a time.

Does it fit a standard 24-inch cabinet opening?

It is 24 inches wide and 34 inches high, so it fits a standard cabinet width. It is 21.75 inches deep, so check your counter depth before ordering.

Is it quiet enough for an open kitchen?

It is rated 49 dBA, which is quiet for a double-drawer unit. You will hear it in a quiet room but it should not drown out conversation.

Why is it not Energy Star certified?

It uses about 270 kWh a year, which is above the level needed for certification. Running small loads in one drawer is the main way to keep use down.

When is the price lowest?

The best new price is $1,199 at Home Depot as of November 5, 2026. Appliance prices usually drop around major holiday sales, so compare then.
