Our take on the Callaway Elyte Hybrid

The Callaway Elyte is a game-improvement hybrid built to replace long irons with a higher, more forgiving ball flight. It comes in right- and left-handed versions and sits between fairway woods and irons in the bag. At $149.98 at DICK'S Sporting Goods as of November 5, 2026, the new price sits at the low end of what this club has sold for recently, making it a fair time to buy if the loft fits your gap.

Questions and answers

Is the Callaway Elyte hybrid worth it?
For players who struggle with long irons, yes. It launches higher and forgives mishits, and at $149.98 at DICK'S Sporting Goods as of November 5, 2026 it is priced at the low end of its recent range.
What lofts does the Elyte hybrid come in?
Callaway offers the Elyte hybrid in a range of lofts from roughly 3H through 6H, so you can gap it against your irons. Check which lofts are stocked in left-handed before ordering.
Should I buy the hybrid or a long iron?
The hybrid is the easier club for most mid- and high-handicap players. It launches higher and keeps more mishits in play; a long iron only makes sense if you want a lower flight and more control.
Is it right- or left-handed?
Both are made. Right-handed lofts are easier to find; left-handed availability is narrower, so confirm the exact loft and hand before you buy.
When is the Elyte hybrid cheapest?
New prices have moved around since launch, and $149.98 at DICK'S Sporting Goods as of November 5, 2026 is near the bottom of that range. Waiting for a new model release may cut it further.
Where is the Callaway Elyte Hybrid cheapest?
At DICK'S Sporting Goods, for $149.98, as of our latest check.
What do buyers say about the Callaway Elyte Hybrid?
Rated 4.7 out of 5 from 199 ratings.
Where can I buy the Callaway Elyte Hybrid?
