Is the Cambro 12SFSCW135 worth it?

For bulk storage and batch cooking, yes. At $19.95 at eBay as of November 4, 2026, you get a durable 8-quart tub that stacks and survives freezer and dishwasher use. Skip it if you need microwave reheating.

Does it come with a lid?

Not always. Many listings sell the container alone, and Cambro's snap lids for this size are sold separately. Check the listing before buying if you need a lid.

Can I put it in the microwave?

No. Cambro lists this polycarbonate container as not microwave-safe. Use it for cold storage, freezing and dishwasher cleaning instead.

Cambro does not market this container as BPA-free. If that matters to you, look at Cambro's polypropylene or BPA-free lines instead.

It holds 8 quarts and measures about 8-3/8 inches square by 9-1/8 inches tall. Check your shelf and fridge height before buying.

When is the price lowest?

Only one store lists it new, at $19.95 at eBay as of November 4, 2026, so there is little room to compare. Watch for multipacks or restaurant-supply sales if you need several.

The best new price is $19.95 at eBay as of November 4, 2026, and only one store lists it new, so there is little price competition to shop around.
