Our take on the Camping World Folding Side Table

The Camping World Folding Side Table is an all-polypropylene camp table that folds flat and weighs 3 lbs. It stands 19.7 in tall with a 17.5 in wide top, so it sits at about seat height next to a camp chair. The plastic body is UV-protected and rated not to rust, peel or rot, which suits patio and poolside use as well as camping. It holds only 20 lbs, so it is a drinks-and-plate table, not a cooler stand.

Questions and answers

Is the Camping World Folding Side Table worth it?
It is a reasonable buy if you want a 3 lb table for drinks and small items beside a chair. Skip it if you need to set down a cooler or stove, since the limit is 20 lbs.
How much weight can it hold?
20 lbs. That covers a plate, drinks and a book, but not a cooler, a camp stove or a heavy lantern.
How tall is it next to a camp chair?
It stands 19.7 in tall, close to the seat height of most folding camp chairs, so items are within easy reach.
Can it stay outside in the rain?
Yes. The polypropylene body is rated not to rust, peel or rot, and it is UV-protected and fade-resistant. It is still light enough to blow over in wind, so fold it away when empty.
Does it fold flat for storage?
Yes, it is a collapsible folding table. At 3 lbs it stores in a camper, boat, closet or dorm without much space.
What colors does it come in?
Black, blue, brown and gray.
