Our take on the ALPS Mountaineering Dash Table

The Dash Table is a lightweight folding camp table from ALPS Mountaineering. It sets up a 29.5-inch square aluminum frame with a 420D polyester honeycomb ripstop top at 20.5 inches high, and it weighs just 2 pounds, so it packs into a carry bag and travels easily. Its $41.99 best new price at Frank's Great Outdoors as of November 4, 2026 is the low end of what it has sold for recently. The catch is reception: a 2.8 out of 5 average from 37 ratings suggests buyers have real complaints.

Questions and answers

Is the Dash Table worth buying?
At $41.99 at Frank's Great Outdoors as of November 4, 2026, it is a cheap, very light table for sitting-height use. If you need a rigid, stable table for heavy cooking gear, spend more on a hard-top model.
How much weight can the fabric top hold?
ALPS does not publish a load rating for the Dash Table. The 420D ripstop top is taut but flexible, so keep heavy pots and coolers off it and treat it as a plates-and-drinks table.
How tall is it compared with a normal table?
It stands 20.5 inches high, well below a standard 28-to-30-inch dining table. It works with camp chairs and ground mats, not standing-height cooking.
Does it come with a carry bag?
Yes. The Dash Table ships with a carry bag, and the whole table weighs 2 pounds, so it straps to a pack or bike easily.
When is the Dash Table cheapest?
Camp furniture usually drops during end-of-season and Black Friday sales. The current $41.99 at Frank's Great Outdoors is already near the bottom of its recent range, so waiting may not save much.
Where is the ALPS Mountaineering Dash Table cheapest?
At Frank's Great Outdoors, for $41.99, 40% under what the other stores charge, as of our latest check.
What do buyers say about the ALPS Mountaineering Dash Table?
Rated 2.8 out of 5 from 37 ratings.
Where can I buy the ALPS Mountaineering Dash Table?
13 stores we checked sell it, including Frank's Great Outdoors, REI, DICK'S Sporting Goods, eBay, Cabela's.
