Our take on the Canales Furniture Elwood Cognac Vegan Leather Sofa

The Elwood is an 87-inch sofa from Canales Furniture upholstered in cognac vegan leather over a wood frame. Its long, low-profile silhouette and solid color make it an easy fit for living rooms that want a leather look without the leather price. It is a single fixed configuration, not a modular or reclining piece. No current pricing was provided, so check the latest store quotes against its recent range before buying.

Questions and answers

Is the Elwood sofa real leather?
No. It is upholstered in vegan leather, a synthetic material over a wood frame. It looks like leather but needs no conditioning and wipes clean with a damp cloth.
How many people does an 87-inch sofa seat?
About three adults at average build. The 87-inch length is roughly standard for a three-seat sofa, so measure your room and doorway before ordering.
How do I clean vegan leather?
Wipe with a damp cloth and mild soap, then dry immediately. Avoid harsh solvents and abrasive scrubbers, which can dull or crack the finish.
Will the faux leather peel over time?
It can. Budget and mid-range polyurethane upholstery often peels after several years of heavy use, especially in sunny or hot rooms. Keep it out of direct sun to slow this.
When is the best time to buy it?
Watch for holiday and clearance sales, when furniture stores typically discount upholstery. Compare the current quote with its recent price range before buying.
