Our take on the Capresso Conical Electric Burr Coffee Grinder

The Capresso Conical Burr Grinder is a compact electric grinder with 16 grind settings, from ultra-fine Turkish to coarse French press. A slow gear-reduction motor and conical burrs keep heat low, and the 8.8 oz bean hopper holds enough for several pots. It is a budget step up from blade grinders. At $84.94 at Wayfair as of November 4, 2026, it sits at the low end of its recent price range.

Questions and answers

Is it good for espresso?
Not really. The 16 steps are too wide for dialing in espresso, and fine adjustments are limited. It suits drip, pour-over, French press and Turkish.
How does it compare with the Capresso Infinity?
The Infinity adds more grind settings and a larger hopper. This model is smaller and cheaper, with the same conical burr design.
How much coffee does the hopper hold?
The bean hopper holds 8.8 oz, and the grounds container holds about 4 oz. That is enough for a full pot of drip coffee.
Is the grind fine enough for Turkish coffee?
Yes. The finest setting is labeled ultra-fine Turkish, though results are coarser than a dedicated Turkish grinder.
What is in the box?
The grinder, a grounds container with lid, and a scoop. Beans are not included.
When is it cheapest?
It has sold near $85 at Wayfair as of November 4, 2026, which is low for this grinder. Watch for holiday sales for similar prices.
