Our take on the Casper Dream Bundle

The Casper Dream Bundle pairs a Dream or Dream Max hybrid mattress with a matching foundation and a waterproof mattress protector, in Queen size. The mattresses combine zoned foam with pocketed springs; the Dream Max adds encased coils and denser foam for more support. Both Dream models are rated among the top innerspring mattresses by Consumer Reports. At $1,318.20 at Casper as of November 4, 2026, it is the only new price listed, so there is no recent range to compare against.

Questions and answers

Is the Dream Bundle worth it over buying the pieces separately?
The bundle covers mattress, foundation and protector in one order, which saves you matching a base to the mattress. If you already own a suitable foundation, buying the mattress alone is cheaper.
Should I get the Dream or the Dream Max?
The Dream uses zoned foam over springs for a balanced feel. The Dream Max uses encased coils and precisely cut foam for more support, so it suits heavier sleepers or anyone who wants a firmer bed.
Does the mattress protector affect the mattress feel?
Casper says the protector guards against spills without blocking airflow. It is water resistant, so it protects the mattress but is not a full waterproof barrier for standing water.
How long does the new-mattress smell last?
Some owners report off-gassing that lingers for weeks. Air the room and let the mattress expand fully before adding bedding; the smell usually fades with time.
What is in the box?
You get the Dream or Dream Max hybrid mattress, the foundation and the waterproof mattress protector. The foundation assembles in minutes without tools beyond what is included.
When is the best time to buy?
Casper discounts around major holidays and mattress sales events. At $1,318.20 at Casper as of November 4, 2026, it is the only new price listed, so watch for seasonal drops.
Where is the Casper Dream Bundle cheapest?
At Casper, for $1,318.20, 35% off, as of our latest check.
What do buyers say about the Casper Dream Bundle?
Buyers like: Comfortable, supportive hybrid mattress; Soft, cozy top layer; Great night's sleep with less tossing and turning. Common complaints: Chemical smell or off-gassing that lingers for weeks; Firmer than expected, or thinner and harder than a previous Casper.
