Our take on the Casual Comfort 100% Cotton Percale Ultra-Soft 4 Piece Sheet Set, California King

A 4-piece California King sheet set in 100% cotton percale with a brushed, pre-washed finish and a 160 thread count. It fits mattresses up to 14 inches deep and carries Oeko-Tex Standard 100 certification. The low thread count and brushed finish point to a crisp, breathable feel rather than a silky one. At $44.08 at eBay as of November 7, 2026, it is the lower of the two new prices tracked, so it sits near the bottom of its recent range.

Questions and answers

Is a 160 thread count good for sheets?
It is low for cotton. Percale at 160 is breathable and crisp but thin, so expect a lighter feel than 200-300 count sets.
Will these fit a deep California King mattress?
Yes, the pockets are cut for mattresses up to 14 inches deep. Thicker pillow-tops may strain the corners.
Are these sheets soft or crisp?
They are brushed and pre-washed, so they start softer than plain percale. The percale weave still gives a matte, slightly crisp hand.
How should I wash them?
Machine wash and tumble dry low. Remove promptly to limit wrinkling, which cotton percale does readily.
Is $44.08 a good price for this set?
It is the lowest of the two new prices tracked, at eBay as of November 7, 2026. Given the 2.4 rating, weigh the savings against the thinness complaints.
What is included in the 4-piece set?
A flat sheet, a fitted sheet and two king pillowcases.
