CB2 Cantar Ivory Velvet Upholstered Queen Bed

Our take on the CB2 Cantar Ivory Velvet Upholstered Queen Bed

The CB2 Cantar is an upholstered queen platform bed in ivory velvet, built on an oak and wood frame with a tall, cushioned headboard. Its rounded, low-profile silhouette is the draw: it reads soft and modern rather than boxy. At $1,399.94 at CB2 as of November 6, 2026, it is the only new price listed, so there is no cheaper store to compare against and no discount to wait for.

Questions and answers

Is the Cantar bed a platform bed or does it need a box spring?

It is an upholstered bed with a wood frame and slat support, so a box spring is not required. A standard queen mattress sits directly on the slats.

How tall is the headboard?

CB2 lists the Cantar with a tall upholstered headboard, roughly in the range that supports sitting up to read. Check the exact height on the product page before buying, since it is not in the specs here.

Is ivory velvet hard to keep clean?

Yes, more than a wood or leather frame. Vacuum it with a soft brush attachment and blot spills right away; avoid rubbing, which crushes the pile.

Is $1,399.94 a good price for this bed?

It is the only new price listed, at CB2 as of November 6, 2026, so there is no lower store price to beat. Upholstered queen beds from CB2 typically sit in this range, and sales are the main way to pay less.

Does it come with the mattress?

No. The price covers the bed frame and upholstered headboard only; the mattress and bedding are sold separately.

Will it fit a standard queen mattress?

Yes. It is built for a standard queen mattress, 60 by 80 inches.

Where is the CB2 Cantar Ivory Velvet Upholstered Queen Bed cheapest?

At CB2, for $1,399.94, as of our latest check.

What do buyers say about the CB2 Cantar Ivory Velvet Upholstered Queen Bed?
