Is the CHAMPS Vintage II set worth $449.95?

At $449.95 at Belk as of November 7, 2026, you get three polycarbonate bags with TSA locks and spinner wheels. That is roughly $150 per bag, which is mid-range for hard-sided sets. Compare against single bags if you rarely check two suitcases.

What sizes are in the set?

A carry-on, a medium check-in with about 70 liters of volume, and a large check-in. The large bag measures 30 by 20 inches and weighs 4.3 kg empty.

Do the bags have TSA locks?

Yes. Each bag has a recessed TSA-approved lock, so security can open it without cutting the zipper.

Can the suitcases expand?

Yes. The bags have a 2-inch expansion zipper that adds depth when you overpack.

Is polycarbonate durable enough for checked bags?

Polycarbonate is flexible and resists cracking better than ABS plastic, and it is lighter than aluminum. It can still scratch, especially in a light color like beige.

When is the price lowest?

Luggage sets usually drop during back-to-school and Black Friday sales. Check the price history on this page before buying if you are not traveling soon.
