Our take on the IZOD Romeo Lightweight Expandable ABS 3-Piece Luggage Set

The IZOD Romeo is a three-piece hard-shell spinner set in ABS plastic, sold in a solid Forest green. The pieces nest for storage and the cases expand, so you can pack them fuller for the return trip. At $114.99 at JCPenney as of November 7, 2026, it is the lowest new price among the three stores that carry it. That works out to about $38 per case, which is entry-level pricing for a full hard-shell set.

Questions and answers

Is $114.99 a good price for this set?
It is the lowest new price among the three stores that list it as of November 7, 2026, at JCPenney. At roughly $38 per case, it sits at the low end for a three-piece hard-shell spinner set.
Is ABS hard-shell luggage durable enough for checked bags?
ABS is the entry-level hard-shell plastic. It handles normal trips but is more prone to cracking and scuffing than polycarbonate or aluminum under rough baggage handling.
Can the three cases nest inside each other?
Yes. The set is sized so the smaller cases fit inside the largest for storage, which is the main reason to buy a matched set rather than separate bags.
Does the set have a TSA-approved lock?
No TSA lock is listed for this set. Plan to use your own luggage lock or leave the cases unlocked for inspection.
How much extra room does the expansion add?
IZOD does not publish an exact figure. The expandable zipper gives a few extra inches of depth on each case, enough for souvenirs or laundry on the trip home.
What is included in the box?
The three matching spinner cases in Forest green. No packing cubes, locks or accessories are listed.
Where is the IZOD Romeo Lightweight Expandable ABS 3-Piece Luggage Set cheapest?
