Our take on the Chicco Corso Primo ClearTex

The Chicco Corso Primo ClearTex is a full travel system: a reversible-seat stroller plus a KeyFit Max Zip ClearTex infant car seat. The stroller holds kids up to 50 lbs and folds into a compact package at 11.3 kg. The car seat clicks into the stroller or a LATCH (ISOFIX) base and fits babies from 1.8 kg up to 15.9 kg or 81 cm. At $649.99 at eBay as of November 5, 2026, it sits at the low end of its recent range across the 4 stores that price it new.

Best forNew parents who want one box for stroller and infant seatFamilies who switch between car and stroller oftenCity and suburban parents who fold and lift the stroller dailyBuyers who want a reversible seat for newborns
Pros
  • Includes the KeyFit Max Zip ClearTex infant car seat, so no separate seat purchase
  • Reversible seat lets the baby face you or the world
  • LATCH/ISOFIX base installs with connectors rather than a seat belt
  • UPF 50+ canopy with zip-out extension and flip-open mesh panel
  • No-rethread harness on the car seat adjusts without unthreading straps
Cons
  • 11.3 kg stroller is heavy to lift into a trunk
  • Car seat with base weighs 8.8 kg
  • Treaded rubber tires and 8.3-inch front wheels are not all-terrain
  • Car seat is outgrown at 15.9 kg or 81 cm, so a convertible seat follows
