These are cordless bamboo Roman shades in sage green, sized 42.5 inches wide by 36 inches long. Questions and answers

Is this shade room darkening?
No. The woven bamboo filters light, so the room stays bright and shapes are visible at night. For a bedroom, pair it with a liner or choose a room-darkening shade.
What size window does 42.5 x 36 fit?
It suits a window opening close to 42.5 inches wide. Measure the exact width at the top, middle and bottom, and pick the closest stock size, since bamboo cannot be trimmed much.
Can I use it in a bathroom?
It is not the best choice there. Steam and humidity can warp or crack bamboo slats over time, so a faux-wood or vinyl shade holds up better in wet rooms.
Is it safe around kids and pets?
Yes. The cordless lift has no dangling cords, which removes the main strangulation risk of corded shades.
What is included in the box?
You get the shade, mounting brackets and screws. A drill and a level are needed; a power screwdriver speeds things up.
Is $137.81 a good price?
It is the only new price listed, $137.81 at Walmart as of November 7, 2026, so there is no recent range to judge it against. Compare it with custom bamboo shades, which usually cost more at this width.
Where is the Chicology Natural Woven Light Filtering Cordless Bamboo Roman Shades 42.5 in W x 36 in L Sage Green cheapest?
