Our take on the Chicory Modular Outdoor Washable 3-Seater Sectional, Classic Canvas Ocean

The Chicory Modular Outdoor 3-Seater Sectional is a deep-seated outdoor sofa built from two end chairs, an armless chair and an ottoman that rearrange freely. Its covers are fully removable and machine-washable, and the powder-coated steel frame with stainless hardware is made to resist corrosion. The fabric is rated for up to 2,000 hours of UV exposure and treated to repel rain and stains. At $1,410.40 at Chicory as of November 4, 2026, it sits at the only price recorded since November 3, 2026, so there is no lower recent price to wait for.

Questions and answers

Is the Chicory sectional worth $1,410.40?
It is a fair price for a modular steel-frame set with washable covers, which most outdoor sectionals at this level lack. The catch is that only Chicory sells it, so you cannot shop the price around.
Can the covers really go in a washing machine?
Yes. Every seat, back and arm cover is removable and machine-washable, which is the main reason to pick this set over fixed-cover sofas.
How does it hold up in rain and sun?
The fabric is rain- and stain-repellent and tested to hold color for up to 2,000 sunlight hours. The textilene layers let water drain rather than soak the cushions, and the steel frame uses stainless hardware to limit rust.
Can I rearrange the pieces?
Yes. The set is two end chairs, one armless chair and an ottoman, so you can build a straight sofa, an L-shape or split it into separate seats.
What comes in the box?
Two end chairs, one armless chair and one ottoman, each with frame, duvet and cover, plus four seat cushions, three back pillows and two arm pillows with inserts.

The lowest recorded price since November 3, 2026 is $1,410.40, the current Chicory price, so there is no cheaper recent point to wait for. Watch for end-of-season sales if you can wait.
