Our take on the Chvans 71" Tall Farmhouse Kitchen Pantry Cabinet with 4 Barn Doors, White-Brown

The Chvans 71-inch farmhouse pantry is a freestanding white-and-brown cabinet with four sliding barn doors, five adjustable shelves and a steel-pipe frame. It stands 71 inches tall and 31.5 inches wide with a shallow 15.7-inch depth, so it fits narrow kitchen walls. Each shelf is rated for 100 lbs. At $128.24 on eBay as of November 4, 2026, it sits at the low end of its recent range, well under typical big-box pantry prices.

Pros
  • Tall 71-inch frame adds vertical storage in a small footprint
  • Five adjustable shelves let you fit cereal boxes or small appliances
  • Each shelf holds up to 100 lbs
  • Steel-pipe reinforcement adds rigidity to a wood cabinet
  • Four barn doors slide out of the way instead of swinging open
Cons
  • Assembly required, and a 71-inch cabinet is a two-person job
  • Shallow 15.7-inch depth limits large platters and deep pots
  • No drawers, so small items need bins or baskets
  • Barn-door tracks and rollers need careful alignment to slide smoothly
  • White-and-brown two-tone finish won't suit every kitchen

Questions and answers

Is the Chvans pantry worth it at $128.24?
At $128.24 on eBay as of November 4, 2026, it is cheap for a 71-inch cabinet with five shelves and steel reinforcement. Expect to spend an afternoon on assembly. At that price it is a reasonable buy if you need tall storage on a narrow wall.
How much weight can it hold?
Each shelf is rated for up to 100 lbs. The total weight capacity is listed as 100 lb, so keep heavy items spread across shelves and low down.
Will it fit in a small kitchen?
It is 31.5 inches wide, 15.7 inches deep and 71 inches tall. The shallow depth suits narrow galley kitchens, but check ceiling and doorway clearance before delivery.
Do the barn doors swing out?
No. The four doors slide on metal tracks, so they don't need swing clearance. Leave a little room at the sides for the doors to slide past each other.
What's in the box?
The cabinet ships flat with panels, steel pipe frame parts, metal hardware and detailed installation instructions. Tools are not included, so have a screwdriver and drill ready.
When is it cheapest?
The current $128.24 on eBay is already near the bottom of its recent range. Watch for eBay coupons and seasonal sales, since only two stores list it new.
