Will it hold an 8 ft tree?

Cinco rates it for trees up to 8 ft with trunks up to 6 in. A full, wide 8 ft tree is near the limit, so seat the trunk deep and check the ratchet is tight.

How much water does it hold?

1.3 gallons, about 4.9 liters. That suits a medium tree; a large tree in a warm room may still need daily refills.

Do I need tools to set it up?

No. The push-pull ratchet clamps and releases the trunk by hand, and the stand comes apart for storage.

Does it work with artificial trees?

It is designed for real trees. Artificial trees with a thin metal pole usually need a stand with a pole clamp instead.

Is $42.95 a good price?
