Questions and answers

Is $134.99 a good price for the Clorox Large Room Air Purifier?
It is the best new price among the 7 stores listing it as of November 5, 2026, and sits at the low end of its recent range. Waiting is unlikely to save much unless a store runs a deeper promotion.
What size room does it really clean?
The 1,500 sq ft figure is the manufacturer's maximum. The 232 CFM pollen CADR suits a large living room or open-plan area, but a single unit will struggle to clean a whole 1,500 sq ft home evenly.
Does it have app or remote control?
No. All controls are on the unit itself, including the digital display, programmable timer and automatic shutoff.
What filter does it use, and can I wash it?
It uses a replaceable True HEPA filter with an odor-absorbing layer. The filter is not permanent or washable, so it needs periodic replacement.
How loud is it?
The lowest setting is rated at 35 dB, roughly a quiet room. Higher fan speeds are louder.
Is it easy to move between rooms?
Not very. It is a 19-inch tower weighing 11.56 lb with no handle, so it is best placed once and left in position.
Where is the Clorox Large Room Air Purifier cheapest?
At JCPenney, for $134.99, 25% under what the other stores charge, as of our latest check.
What do buyers say about the Clorox Large Room Air Purifier?
Rated 4.6 out of 5 from 216 ratings.
Where can I buy the Clorox Large Room Air Purifier?
9 stores we checked sell it, including JCPenney, Wayfair, Target, Lowe's, Best Buy.
