Is the Coaster Bar Harbor buffet with hutch worth $849.99?

At $849.99 at homecinemacenter.com as of November 5, 2026, you get a buffet and hutch in one. That is reasonable for a two-piece unit with glass display and mirrored back, but with one seller there is no discount pressure.

How does it compare with a plain sideboard?

A sideboard gives you a flat top for serving and closed storage only. This unit adds three glass-front shelves and a mirrored back for display, but it is taller and heavier and takes more floor space.

The box contains the buffet base (104114) and the hutch. The buffet has three drawers and two rattan-detailed cabinet doors; the hutch has two glass panels, three shelves and a mirrored back.

Does it come assembled?

Expect to assemble it. A two-piece buffet and hutch of this size ships flat or partly assembled, and the hutch should be secured to the buffet and the wall.

What finish and materials does it use?

It has a deep cherry finish over poplar solids and cherry veneers. The veneers keep the cost down compared with solid cherry, but edges need care.

Only one store lists it new, so the price is unlikely to move on competition. Watch for store-wide furniture sales or holiday promotions at homecinemacenter.com rather than comparing across stores.
