Is the Coleman folding table worth it at $73.99?

At $73.99 at Target as of November 4, 2026, it is a fair price for a four-person table that folds into a bag. Cheaper square camp tables exist, but few pack as small or carry a steel frame rated to 99 lbs.

How small does it pack?

The top rolls up and the frame folds, giving a packed size of about 28.9 by 8.3 by 5.1 inches. It weighs about 10.5 lbs and fits in a car trunk or closet.

Can it stay outside in the rain?

No. The top is stain resistant but not weather resistant, so bring it in or cover it when it rains. The aluminum top will not rust, but the steel frame can over time if left wet.

How many people does it seat?

Four, on a 27.6-inch square top. The 27.6-inch height lines up with most folding camp chairs.

The table and a carry bag. Some assembly is required, but the snap-together frame sets up in seconds without tools.

Camping gear usually drops around spring outdoor sales and end-of-season clearance in late summer. Watch the price history for dips below the current $73.99.
