Questions and answers

Is this tub big enough for two people?
At 72 inches long it is one of the larger rectangular drop-in tubs, so two adults can share it. Check the exact width and depth on the spec sheet against your deck space before ordering.
What does a drop-in whirlpool tub need for installation?
It needs a framed deck or surround that supports the rim, plus access to the pump and plumbing. A dedicated circuit is usually required for the whirlpool motor.
How does it compare with a plain soaking tub?
The jets add a massage-style soak, but you pay more up front and take on pump maintenance and cleaning. A plain tub of the same size is simpler and cheaper to own.
Is acrylic a good material for a jetted tub?
Acrylic is common for whirlpools because it is light and warm to the touch. It needs a solid base underneath so the floor does not flex, and it can scratch.
When is the best time to buy?
Tub prices often dip during bathroom-remodel sales and holiday promotions. The current best new price is $1,491.05 at Home Depot as of November 6, 2026.
