Is the Contigo Aubrey bottle really leakproof?

Contigo says the lid closes securely for leakproof travel and the straw is spill-proof while drinking. Owners back that up for bags and backpacks, though no bottle is safe if the lid is left open.

What age is this bottle for?

Contigo rates it for ages 3 and up. The button-and-straw design suits preschoolers, but the silicone straw is not chew-proof for younger toddlers.

The lid hinges open for thorough cleaning and is top-rack dishwasher safe. The bottle body and straw are best washed by hand with a straw brush.

Is $15.99 a good price?

It is the only new price found, $15.99 at Walmart as of November 8, 2026, so there is no cheaper recent price to wait for. Kids' bottles in this size often sell in the low-to-mid teens.

Does it fit standard cup holders?

The 14 oz. body is slim enough for most stroller and car seat cup holders, but the handle and pop-up lid add width at the top.

What comes in the box?

One 14 oz. Aubrey bottle with the AutoSpout lid and silicone straw attached. It is a single bottle, not a multipack.
