The Contixo Kids Robot R1 is a small toy robot aimed at younger children, marketed around basic circuits-and-robots play rather than app control or coding. It runs on three AAA batteries that are not included, so plan on buying batteries before first use. It is a simple, low-cost novelty toy rather than a programmable STEM kit. Its 3.8-out-of-5 average across 575 ratings suggests most buyers find it acceptable but not exceptional.
Lowest price we've seen: $49.99 on Oct 31 at Target. Tracked across 1 store since Oct 31.
With 575 ratings averaging 3.8 out of 5, reception is mixed but leaning positive. Buyers generally treat it as a cheap, fun toy for small children rather than an educational device, and some report it losing appeal quickly.
