Our take on the Cool White 4000K 32.8ft COB LED Strip Light, Dimmable Cuttable

This is a 32.8 ft COB LED strip in cool white, sold as a single dimmable, cuttable rope light for indoor use. COB construction means a continuous line of light with no visible LED dots, which suits under-cabinet runs, coves and shelf edging. The listing mixes color temperature figures (4000K in the name, 6500K in the specs), so confirm the tint before buying. No price was provided, so its current cost cannot be compared with its recent range.

Renters and makers who need cuttable length
Pros
  • COB design gives a smooth, dot-free light line
  • 32.8 ft is enough for long runs without splicing
  • Cuttable, so you can trim to fit
  • Dimmable when paired with a compatible dimmer
  • Flexible rope format bends around corners
Cons
  • Color temperature is inconsistent: 4000K in the name, 6500K in the specs
  • No NRTL listing, which may matter for code or insurance
  • Corded electric, so it needs an outlet nearby
  • Brightness figure of 100 lm is vague for a 32.8 ft run
  • Indoor only, not for wet or outdoor use

Questions and answers

Is this strip 4000K or 6500K?
The product name says 4000K but the specs list 6500K. Ask the seller to confirm before ordering, since the two look noticeably different.
Can I cut it to length?
Yes, it is sold as cuttable. Cut only at the marked points and seal the end so the strip keeps working.
Does it need a separate dimmer?
Yes. It is dimmable only with a compatible dimmer or controller, which is not listed as included.
Can it be used outdoors?
No. It is rated for indoor use only, so keep it away from moisture and weather.
Is it safe to install behind a wall or in a ceiling?
It has no NRTL listing, so check local electrical code before hiding it in a wall or ceiling cavity.
What comes in the box?
The listing describes one 32.8 ft strip. Power supply and mounting clips are not confirmed, so verify contents with the seller.
