Is COREtec Plus Tile VV872 waterproof?

Yes. The WPC core is 100% waterproof and will not swell when wet, so it suits bathrooms, kitchens and basements.

Can it be installed below grade?

Yes. COREtec rates it for above, on or below grade, and the stable core needs no expansion strips in large rooms.

What is the tile size and thickness?

Each tile is 12.01 by 24.02 inches and 8mm thick: 0.5mm vinyl, 6mm WPC core and 1.5mm cork underlayment.

Does it need underlayment or glue?

No. Cork underlayment is attached and the edges use a click tap/angle lock, so it floats without glue.

How does it compare with glue-down LVT?

It is thicker, warmer and removable, but sits higher and can clash with existing transitions. Glue-down LVT is thinner and quieter underfoot.

Vinyl tile tends to dip during store promotions and end-of-season sales. Compare the live price against its recent range before buying.
