COREtec Calypso Oak WPC Vinyl Plank Flooring VV012-00761 LVP Originals Enhanced 7" x 48"

Calypso Oak, style VV012-00761, is a wood-look luxury vinyl plank (LVP) in the COREtec Originals Enhanced line. If you have seen this color sold as COREtec Plus Enhanced Plank, it is the same product under the collection's earlier name; the style number did not change.

Planks are 7" x 48" with 8 mm total thickness and a 20 mil wear layer. In the manufacturer's photography the color appears as a pale, warm tan with a mostly straight grain, fine saw-mark texture across the face, and only occasional small knots, so a full floor reads fairly uniform rather than rustic. "Enhanced" refers to the painted bevel on the plank edges, which shows as a thin, slightly darker seam between planks and defines each board more clearly than an unpainted edge. The grain and bevel are printed and embossed vinyl, not hardwood, so the floor carries COREtec's waterproof core and wear-layer warranty rather than hardwood's refinishing cycle.

Construction is COREtec's foamed WPC core with cork underlayment attached to the back and a UV acrylic finish on top. The core is 100% waterproof, which protects the plank itself in kitchens, baths, and basements; it does not waterproof the room, and the subfloor still has to meet COREtec's installation requirements. COREtec approves two installation methods for this style, floating (angle-tap click) and direct glue, above, on, or below grade, with no acclimation period.

Each carton covers 23.64 square feet. COREtec's own calculator adds 15% for cuts and waste, so a 300 sq ft room works out to 345 sq ft, or 15 cartons. Coordinating COREtec trim for this color (T-molding, reducer, baby threshold, quarter round, and stair pieces) is listed under Accessories on this page.
