Questions and answers

Is the Coros Apex 4 worth it over the Apex 2 Pro?
Yes, if you want dual-frequency GPS, faster map loading and a sapphire touchscreen. The Apex 2 Pro is cheaper and still solid, but its GPS and navigation are a step behind.
How long does the battery last?
Coros rates it at up to 41 hours in Endurance GPS mode and about 15 days of daily use. Heavier GPS and map use will shorten that.
Does it play music or take payments?
No. The Apex 4 has no music storage and no contactless payment support. It focuses on training, GPS and navigation.
Which phones and apps does it work with?
It pairs over Bluetooth and Wi-Fi with the Coros app on iOS and Android, and syncs to Strava, TrainingPeaks and Apple Health.
Is the titanium bezel and sapphire glass worth it?
For trail and mountain use, yes. Both resist scratches and impacts that would mark a plastic or standard glass watch.
When is it cheapest?
The $334.23 eBay price as of November 4, 2026 is near the bottom of its recent range. Watch for sales around major race seasons and holidays.
Where is the Coros Apex 4 GPS cheapest?
At REI, for $429.00, as of our latest check.
Where can I buy the Coros Apex 4 GPS?
7 stores we checked sell it, including Running Warehouse US, REI, Best Buy, All4cycling, us.coros.com.
