Is a leather sectional good for families with kids?

Yes, generally. Leather wipes clean and resists spills better than fabric, though it can scratch. Gray hides marks better than white or cream.

Does the power recline need to be plugged in?

Yes. Each power seat has a motor that runs on household electricity, so you need outlets within reach of the sofa. Check the cord length before you commit to a layout.

Can the six pieces be arranged as a straight sofa?

Usually yes, since sectionals like this are built from modular pieces. Confirm the configuration options on the listing, because some pieces are corner-specific.

How do I clean and care for the leather?

Wipe spills promptly with a damp cloth and use a leather conditioner a few times a year. Keep the sofa out of direct sun to slow fading and cracking.

Is it worth buying from Costco instead of a furniture store?

Costco's main advantages are member pricing and its return policy. Compare the exact price and delivery terms against local stores, since furniture delivery fees vary a lot.

Our take on the Costco Leather Power Reclining Sectional

This is a six-piece gray leather sectional with power reclining seats, sold through Costco. Leather upholstery and built-in power recline put it in the mid-to-upper range for a large sectional, and the six-piece layout lets you arrange it as a straight run or an L. Costco's furniture is typically sold at a single member price rather than deep seasonal discounts, so the listed price is usually the price. Check the current listing for the exact figure and whether delivery or setup is included.
