Is the Costway 18 QT roaster worth it?

For occasional turkey roasts and big batches, yes. It costs far less than a range oven and frees up your main oven on holidays. If you roast weekly or want precise temperature control, a dedicated countertop oven is a better fit.

Does it fit a 24 lb turkey?

Yes. Costway rates the 18-quart cavity for birds up to 24 lbs. Larger birds will not fit with the lid closed.

What comes in the box?

The roaster, a lift-out rack and a removable roasting pan. No thermometer, timer or roasting bags are included.

The pan and rack are dishwasher-safe. Wipe the interior and lid by hand, and let the unit cool fully before cleaning.

Can it do more than roast?

It has defrost and warm settings in addition to roast, with a maximum of 450°F. It is not a slow cooker or a smoker.

Roaster ovens usually drop around Thanksgiving and December. Compare store prices and price history before buying outside the holiday season.
