Our take on the Costway 3PCS Patio Rattan Furniture Set Table & Chairs Set with Cushions Outdoor

The Costway 3-piece patio rattan set is a budget outdoor seating group: two armchairs with polyester cushions and a small matching table, all in a woven rattan-style finish. It is aimed at small balconies, patios and apartment courtyards where a full dining set will not fit. The set is FSC-certified and intended for outdoor use. Its price sits at the low end of the outdoor seating market, consistent with its entry-level build.

Questions and answers

Is this set worth it for a small balcony?
Yes, if you want affordable, compact seating and accept entry-level build quality. It suits light use better than daily, heavy use.
How does it compare with a real wicker or teak set?
Real wicker and teak cost several times more but last longer and hold up better to weather. This set trades durability for a low price.
Are the cushions weatherproof?
The polyester fabric is intended for outdoor use but is not waterproof. Bring cushions inside during rain to prevent mildew and fading.
How many people does it seat?
Two. The set has two armchairs and a small table, so it works for a pair rather than a group.
What is in the box?
Two chairs with cushions and one table, plus the hardware and instructions for assembly. Assembly is required.
When is it cheapest?
Outdoor furniture discounts most around late summer and end-of-season clearance. Check the price history before buying.
