Is 5 feet tall enough for a living room?

It suits apartments and small rooms. In a room with 9-foot ceilings it will look short, so consider a 6- to 7-foot tree instead.

How many lights does it have, and are they LED?

It has 150 LED lights, pre-attached to the branches. They run on wall power, not batteries.

Does it come with a stand?

Yes, a tree stand is included. Assembly is required and tools are provided.

Can it be used outdoors?

No. Costway lists it for indoor use only.

Is $54.99 a good price?

It is the only new price listed, $54.99 at Target as of November 5, 2026, so there is no recent range to judge against. For a pre-lit 5-foot tree, it is a low price.

It has 600 tips, which is on the sparse side for 5 feet. Plan on spreading the branches out to fill gaps.
