Is this bed frame worth it?

For a budget queen platform bed, yes. It skips the box spring and the headboard, so you pay mostly for the frame itself.

Do I need a box spring?

No. It is a platform bed, so a queen mattress sits directly on the frame.

Is a mattress included?

No. The mattress is required but not included, so budget for one separately.

How much clearance is under the bed?

The frame sits 14 inches off the floor, which leaves room for low storage bins and luggage.

How hard is assembly?

Adult assembly is required, and tools are provided. Expect a typical flat-pack build of an hour or so with two people.

Does it fit a standard queen mattress?

Yes. It is sized for a standard queen mattress, which is not included.

Our take on the Costway Queen Size 14'' Wooden Bed Frame

The Costway Queen Size 14'' Wooden Bed Frame is a platform bed with a 14-inch floor-to-frame height, so it needs no box spring and leaves room for storage underneath. It has no headboard, which keeps the frame simple and low-cost. It is a budget option aimed at renters and guest rooms rather than a statement piece.
