Our take on the Costway Vanity Desk with Sliding Mirror and Lights Makeup Table and Chair Set

The Costway Vanity Desk is a two-piece makeup set: an MDF table in white with a sliding lighted mirror, plus a matching chair. The mirror slides along the tabletop so you can shift it aside for more workspace, and the built-in lights help with makeup in dim rooms. It is a budget set that needs adult assembly with the included tools. Its 3.9 out of 5 rating from 8 ratings is a small sample, so treat it as a rough signal.

Questions and answers

Is the Costway vanity desk worth it?
For a low-cost starter vanity in a small room, yes. Expect MDF rather than solid wood, and plan an evening for assembly.
How does the sliding mirror work?
The mirror sits on a track on the tabletop and slides side to side. That lets you clear the center of the desk for a laptop or makeup spread.
Does the lighted mirror need batteries or a plug?
The listing does not state the power source, so check the product details before buying. Most lighted vanities in this class use a wall plug or USB.
What are the dimensions?
The listing gives a tabletop thickness of 0.47 inches but no full dimensions. Confirm width, depth and height before you order for a tight space.
What is in the box?
The set includes the vanity table with mirror and a chair. Assembly tools are provided; the listing does not list other accessories.
When is it cheapest?
Vanity sets like this usually dip during back-to-school and Black Friday sales. Our price history shows whether the current price is near its low.
