Is the 1500 thread count real?

No. The fabric is 100% polyester, and 1500 is a marketing figure rather than a measured thread count. Expect a soft microfiber feel, not a high-end cotton sateen.

Will it fit my king mattress?

The fitted sheet has deep pockets and is rated for mattresses up to about 14 inches deep. Thicker pillow-top mattresses may not fit.

Is it good for hot sleepers?

Polyester traps heat more than cotton or linen, so hot sleepers often find it warm. It suits cool rooms and cool sleepers better.

How should I wash it?

Machine wash cold and tumble dry low; the care instructions say not to iron. Skip fabric softener to keep the brushed feel.

Is $39.97 a good price?

That is the only price recorded so far, at $39.97 as of October 30, 2026, so there is no recent range to compare. For a four-piece king set it is a low price.

Four pieces: one flat sheet, one deep-pocket fitted sheet and two king pillowcases. The flat sheet measures 96 by 81 inches.

Our take on the Cosy House Collection 1500 Series Luxury 4 Piece Bed Sheet Set, King

The Cosy House Collection 1500 Series is a four-piece king sheet set made of 100% polyester with a deep pocket fitted sheet. The "1500" figure is a marketing thread count, not a cotton count; the fabric is a brushed microfiber-style polyester that resists wrinkles and fading. The set fits mattresses up to about 14 inches deep. Its only recorded price is $39.97, so there is no lower or higher point to compare against yet.
