Our take on the Cozydesg Soft Fluffy Shaggy Area Rug

The Cozydesg Soft Fluffy Shaggy Area Rug is an 8' x 10' indoor rug in a black-and-white geometric pattern with a deep shag pile. It has a non-slip backing and is machine washable, which is unusual for a rug this size and pile depth. It suits living rooms, bedrooms and playrooms where softness matters more than durability under heavy furniture.

Questions and answers

Is the Cozydesg shag rug really machine washable?
Yes, it is listed as washable. At 8' x 10' it will not fit most home washers, so plan on a commercial machine or spot cleaning for everyday spills.
Does it stay in place on hardwood floors?
It has a non-slip backing, so it grips hard floors without a separate pad. On thick carpet or with heavy traffic, a rug pad still helps.
Will the shag pile shed?
Some shedding is normal for a new shag rug. Vacuum gently without a beater bar for the first few weeks and it should settle.
Is 8' x 10' big enough for a living room?
It fits a standard sofa-and-coffee-table setup with the front legs of the sofa on the rug. For larger sectionals, size up or layer it.
Does the black-and-white pattern hide stains?
The dark areas hide marks well, but the white sections show dirt and pet hair. Regular vacuuming keeps it looking clean.
What rooms is it best for?
It is indoor-only and best in bedrooms, living rooms and playrooms. High-traffic hallways will flatten the pile faster.
What do buyers say about the Cozydesg Soft Fluffy Shaggy Area Rug?
