Our take on the Craftsman 4 Ah Battery Kit

A two-pack of Craftsman V20 20V MAX 4.0 Ah lithium-ion batteries with a charger, sold as a kit. Each pack has a 3-LED charge indicator and charges in about an hour on the included CMCB104 charger. It fits every Craftsman V20 cordless tool. At $58 at eBay as of November 4, 2026, the kit is priced well below what two 4 Ah packs and a charger usually cost separately.

Best forOwners adding runtime to a V20 tool collectionBuyers replacing a worn-out V20 batteryPeople who want a spare charger for a second locationAnyone with several V20 tools who needs two packs

Pros

Two 4.0 Ah batteries plus a charger in one kit
About 1-hour charge time
3-LED state-of-charge indicator on each pack
No memory effect, so partial charges are fine
Fits the full Craftsman V20 line

Cons

4 Ah is mid-capacity; high-draw tools like circular saws drain it fast
Charger is a basic single-port unit, not a fast or multi-port model
Only works with Craftsman V20 tools, not other brands
Bulkier and heavier than a 2 Ah pack in compact tools
