Is the CRAFTSMAN M215 self-propelled?
No. Despite the self-propelled label some listings use, the specs list it as a push mower with no self-propulsion. You push it yourself.

CRAFTSMAN rates it for yards up to about a quarter acre. For larger lots, a wider deck or a self-propelled model saves time and effort.

You get the mower, engine oil, an optional bagger and a side discharge chute. The mulching plug is part of the 3-in-1 deck setup.
Does it have electric start?
No. It uses a recoil pull start with the 140cc CRAFTSMAN engine.
Is $309 a good price?
Only one store lists it new at $309.00 as of November 5, 2026, so there is no competing new price to compare against. Check the price against similar 21-inch gas mowers before buying.
