Our take on the Craftsman Tool Bag

The Craftsman Tool Bag is a soft-sided 13 x 9.75 x 8.25 inch tote in 600D denier fabric, built for small hand tools. It has a wide open-mouth top with a zipper closure, a padded handle, three mesh exterior pockets and a cell phone pocket. The best new price is $9.00 at eBay as of November 4, 2026, the only new price listed, so it sits well below what a bag this size usually costs.

  • Tough fabric for the price
  • Easy to reach tools through the wide opening

Questions and answers

Is the Craftsman Tool Bag worth buying?
At $9.00 at eBay as of November 4, 2026, it is a low-cost way to organize small hand tools. It suits light home and garage use rather than heavy daily trade work.
How big is it and what fits inside?
It measures 13 inches wide, 9.75 inches tall and 8.25 inches deep. That fits screwdrivers, pliers, wrenches and similar small hand tools, not power tools.
Does it have a shoulder strap?
No. It has a padded carry handle only, so plan to carry it by hand.
Is the bag waterproof?
The 600D denier fabric resists moisture and wear, but the zippered top is not a sealed waterproof closure. Do not leave it out in rain.
When is the best time to buy it?
Tool bags often drop around holiday sales and Father's Day promotions. The current $9.00 at eBay as of November 4, 2026 is already low, so waiting is unlikely to save much.
Where is the Craftsman Tool Bag cheapest?
At eBay, for $9.00, as of our latest check.
