Our take on the Craftsman V20 Brushless RP Weedwacker String Trimmer & Blower Combo Kit

This is a two-tool cordless kit: a 13-inch string trimmer and a leaf blower, both running on Craftsman's 20V battery platform. The brushless motors and one 5.0 Ah lithium-ion battery with charger are the core of the package, and the trimmer is built to be far lighter than a gas unit. At $100 at eBay as of November 4, 2026, the kit sits at the low end of what it has cost recently, well under typical big-box pricing for the same combo.

Best forSmall to mid-size suburban yardsShoppers already on the Craftsman V20 battery platformHomeowners replacing a gas trimmer with something lighterBuying a trimmer and blower together on a budget
Pros
  • Two tools on one 20V battery and charger
  • Brushless motors for longer runtime and life
  • 5.0 Ah battery is a step up from the small packs in entry kits
  • 13-inch cut with adjustable 11-13 inch string diameter
  • Weatherguard protection against moisture and dust
  • Trimmer is much lighter than gas equivalents
Cons
  • One battery for two tools means swapping mid-job
  • 13-inch cut is narrower than many gas trimmers
  • Fixed straight shaft, no split-shaft storage or edging attachment
  • Blower is a compact handheld, not a high-CFM yard blower
  • No second battery in the box

Questions and answers

Is the Craftsman V20 combo kit worth it at $100?
At $100 at eBay as of November 4, 2026, it is a low price for a brushless trimmer, blower, 5.0 Ah battery and charger. That is good value if your yard is small to mid-size and you don't need gas-level power.
How long does the 5.0 Ah battery last?
Expect roughly 20 to 30 minutes of trimmer run time and less with the blower on high, depending on grass and load. One battery for two tools means you may need to recharge between jobs.
Does it come with a battery and charger?
Yes. The kit includes one 20V 5.0 Ah lithium-ion battery and a charger, plus the trimmer and blower.
Can I use other Craftsman V20 batteries in it?
Yes. Any Craftsman V20 battery fits both tools, so a spare pack from another V20 tool extends runtime.
Is the trimmer good for edging and tall grass?
It handles light edging and ordinary grass, but the fixed straight shaft and 13-inch cut make it less suited to thick brush or precise edging than a dedicated edger.
When is this kit cheapest?
Combo kits like this tend to drop around spring lawn season and holiday sales. The $100 eBay price as of November 4, 2026 is already near the bottom of its recent range.
Where is the Craftsman V20 Brushless RP Weedwacker String Trimmer & Blower Combo Kit cheapest?
