Is the 5.0Ah pack worth it over the 3.0Ah?

Yes if you run tools like a circular saw or trimmer for long stretches. The 5.0Ah roughly doubles runtime versus the 3.0Ah and costs only a little more per amp-hour.

Will this fit my older Craftsman 19.2V tools?

No. It only fits 20V MAX V20 tools with the slide-on interface. Older 19.2V and V60 tools use different mounts.

Does it come with a charger?

No. It is a bare battery pack. You need a V20 charger, which is often sold separately or bundled with tool kits.

How long does it take to charge?

With a standard V20 charger, expect roughly an hour to 90 minutes from empty. Fast chargers cut that to around 45 minutes.

Battery packs tend to drop during spring yard-care sales and Black Friday bundles. At $69.99 at eBay as of November 4, 2026, it is already near the low end of its recent range.
