Our take on the Craftsman V20 3Ah Advanced Battery Starter with 2Gal Wet/Dry Vac with 3-Speed Misting Fan

This is a Craftsman V20 cordless kit that pairs a 2-gallon wet/dry vacuum with a 3-speed misting fan and a 3Ah Advanced battery. Both tools run on the same V20 battery, so the kit covers small cleanup jobs and outdoor cooling from one pack. The vacuum is a compact handheld unit for spills, car floors and workbench mess; the fan mists and moves air on a patio or in a garage. Questions and answers

Is this kit worth it over buying the vacuum alone?
If you want a fan for hot outdoor work and already use V20 batteries, the kit adds a second tool for one battery. If you only need vacuuming, a bare vacuum or a larger shop vac is the better buy.
How long does the 3Ah battery last?
Runtime depends on the tool and speed. Expect the vacuum to run for short cleanup sessions and the fan to last longer on low speed; high fan speed and misting drain the pack faster.
Does the misting fan work without water?
Yes. It runs as a plain 3-speed fan; the misting function needs the water reservoir filled.
Can it pick up water and dry debris?
Yes. It is a wet/dry vacuum, so it handles spills and dry mess in the 2-gallon tank. Empty and dry the tank after wet use.
Which V20 batteries fit these tools?
Any Craftsman V20 battery fits, including this 3Ah Advanced pack. Larger Ah packs give longer runtime but add weight.
When is the best time to buy?
Craftsman kits tend to drop around holiday sales and spring outdoor events. Compare the kit price with the vacuum and fan bought separately before buying.
