Is the Craftsman V20 kit worth it for a small yard?

Yes, if your lawn is small and you mainly need trimming and light blowing. The two included batteries and charger make it a low-cost start on the V20 platform. It struggles with thick growth and long run times.

How long do the 1.5 Ah batteries last?

Expect roughly 15 to 25 minutes of trimmer use and less with the blower on high, depending on load. Two packs let you keep working while one charges, but heavy jobs will need more batteries.

Does the trimmer take other Craftsman V20 batteries?

Yes. Any Craftsman V20 lithium-ion pack fits, and larger 4.0 Ah or 5.0 Ah packs will extend runtime. The kit's 1.5 Ah packs are the smallest option.

Can I use it as an edger or add attachments?

No. The shaft is fixed and not split, so it does not accept edger or cultivator attachments. Edging has to be done by tilting the trimmer.

The kit includes the 10-inch string trimmer, the handheld blower, two 20V 1.5 Ah batteries, and a charger. Line is pre-wound on the spool.

Craftsman V20 kits typically drop around spring lawn-care sales, Black Friday, and end-of-season clearance. Watch for bundle pricing rather than battery-only discounts.
