Questions and answers

Will it work with my car's factory stereo?
Only if the stereo already supports wired Apple CarPlay or Android Auto over USB. A plain Bluetooth or basic USB stereo will not gain CarPlay from this unit.
Do I still need to plug my phone in?
No. After the first pairing, the phone connects wirelessly. Keep a cable in the car for long trips, since wireless CarPlay uses more battery.
Does it work with Android phones as well as iPhones?
Yes. It supports both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, so a shared car works with either phone type.
Is there a lag compared with a wired connection?
Expect a small delay when the system first connects and on some touch inputs. Music and navigation are generally fine once connected.
What is in the box?
The integration unit itself. Check the listing for any included USB cable or antenna, since bundles vary by seller.
When is the best time to buy it?
Car electronics tend to dip during holiday sales and at the end of model cycles. Compare the current price against its recent range before buying.
