Yes. A 54-inch cut at zero-turn speed handles large properties, and Cub Cadet rates the ZTXS4 for up to 12 acres. Expect several hours per full mow.

Does it mulch or bag out of the box?

No. It comes set up for side discharge only; the mulch plug and grass catcher are optional extras. Budget for them if you want either.

What engine does it have?

A 26 HP, 747cc twin-cylinder gas engine with electric PTO and key-start ignition. A 12V battery is included.

Cub Cadet rates the ZTXS4 series at up to 8 mph forward. Actual mowing speed depends on terrain and deck load.
