Is the Cub Cadet ZTXS5 54 worth it over a lawn tractor?

For an acre or more with obstacles, yes. The zero-turn radius and 54-inch deck cut mowing time sharply, and the ZT 3200 drives are a step up from lawn-tractor transaxles.

Does it come with a bagger or mulch kit?

No. It ships as a side-discharge mower. A bagger and a mulch kit are sold separately.

Cub Cadet rates it for slopes up to 20 degrees. The ROPS and wide rear tires help, but wet grass reduces traction on any slope.

What engine does it use?

A 24 HP Kawasaki FS Series 726cc air-cooled V-twin with electric key start and a 12V battery included.

How wide is the cut and how many heights?

The deck is 54 inches wide with 17 positions from 1 inch to 4.75 inches.

Zero-turn prices tend to dip in late fall and winter, outside mowing season. Track the price history here and compare all three stores before buying.
