Is the XT1 Enduro LT 42 worth it at $1,109.30?

Yes, if you mow about 1 to 2 acres of mostly flat ground. At $1,109.30 at Cool Gas Depot as of November 4, 2026, it is priced at the low end for a hydrostatic 42-inch tractor.

How does it compare with the XT1 LT 46?

The LT 46 has a wider 46-inch deck and cuts faster on open lawns. The LT 42 is narrower, fits tighter gates, and usually costs less.

Will it handle a slope?

It handles gentle slopes, but rear-wheel drive only means traction drops on steep or wet hills. Keep slopes under about 15 degrees and mow across, not up and down.

What comes in the box?

The tractor and 42-inch deck ship assembled in large part, with the steering wheel, seat and battery to fit. A bagger, mulch kit and deck wash port are not included.

Lawn tractors usually drop in late summer and fall as stores clear inventory. The current $1,109.30 at Cool Gas Depot as of November 4, 2026 is already near the low end.
