Questions and answers

Is the Greenworks CrossoverT worth $4,597?
It makes sense if you want a quiet, gas-free rider and already value the 60V battery platform. At $4,597 at Walmart as of November 4, 2026, it costs more than many gas riders of the same deck size, so the savings come from fuel and maintenance, not the sticker.
How long does it run on the included batteries?
Greenworks rates it at up to 60 minutes with all six 8.0Ah batteries installed. Real run time depends on grass height, deck height and how much you use the drive, so tall or wet grass will shorten it.
How does it compare with a gas riding mower?
It matches a 42-inch gas rider on cut width and adds electric start and hydrostatic drive, but it tops out around 60 minutes per charge instead of running all day on a tank. It is quieter and needs no oil changes, at a higher purchase price.
Does it bag clippings?
It can, but the bagger is sold separately. Out of the box it mulches and side-discharges.
How much lawn can it handle?
Greenworks lists coverage up to 2.5 acres, but that assumes ideal conditions. For lawns near that size, plan on spare batteries or a charging break, since the included set gives about an hour.
What comes in the box?
The mower, six 60V 8.0Ah batteries and three dual-port Turbo chargers. The bagger is not included.
Where is the Greenworks 60V 42" Cordless Battery CrossoverT Riding Lawn Mower with Six 8.0Ah Batteries and Three Dual Port Turbo Chargers cheapest?
