Is the XT2 LT 50 good for a one-acre yard?

It can handle it, but a 50-inch deck and 24 HP engine are more than a one-acre lawn needs. A smaller deck would maneuver better around tight landscaping.

Does it mulch or bag grass?

Not out of the box. Mulching and bagging kits are sold separately, so budget for them if you want either.

How does it compare with a zero-turn mower?

The XT2 steers like a tractor with a 16-inch turning radius and a steering wheel. A zero-turn cuts tighter around obstacles but costs more and is less suited to slopes and hauling attachments.

What comes in the box?

The tractor arrives fully assembled and ready to use, with the AGM battery, LED lights and seat installed.

Dealer-exclusive models rarely see deep online discounts. The best new price was $3,799 at Lube Suppliers Store as of November 6, 2026, so compare dealer pricing in spring and fall.

Can I use it for snow or hauling?

Yes. Cub Cadet offers year-round attachments for the Enduro Series, including snow and utility equipment, which is a reason to pick a tractor over a zero-turn.
